PA Hire

Steve Jackson Music can offer Indoor (venue/live band/conference) or outdoor (Tannoy-Style) PA hire. Dry hire is offered for the Outdoor PA. The equipment and engineer all come fully insured for your event. Please see the equipment page for the PA options we offer. Please get in touch and we can discuss your requirements and hire conditions.

Indoor PA

This covers all manner of PA hire for indoor venues. This includes a full range Bose F1 rig for bands, with complete Foldback monitoring options.

Full Rig - 4KW rig - suitable for full Bands, miking up Drums, DI/close miking, foldback for all musicians and includes engineer

Half Rig - 2 KW rig - same as above but no subs, Vocal Mic's, DI for e.g. Keyboard/Guitar, close miking as necessary - more suited to open Mic Nights, single performers or small ensembles e.g. Guitarist/Singer or vocal group. includes Engineer.

Conference Rig - mixture of either Full/Half (dependent on requirements) and additional repeater speakers, microphones for panel discussion and delegates. Includes set up and engineer if required (dependent on availability)

Outdoor PA

Tannoy-Style PA with Amplifier/Microphone/iPod input. Suitable for fairs/fates/reenactments etc.

One stand or Two stand system, each stand with 2 x 30W and 2 x 15W (90W total RMS per stand) speakers (both Stands combined 180W. - easily covers a large field/arena).

Can be dry hire or engineered for your event. Additional charge if you want an announcer for your event.

Can be hired in collaboration wiht indoor PA (assuming covered stage etc) - please get in touch for a quote.

Sound Engineering

SJM can offer sound engineering with your own equipment if you simply need an engineer. Steve has many years of experience with a number of Analogue / Digital Desks and various PA equipment.

Audio Recording & Mix Down

Mobile Recording

Steve can record you on location and mix down the recording later - this could be in a living room, church, anywhere that is reasonably quiet with very little background noise. Examples are recording a church choir, or recording an acoustic-style band at a practice session.

Mixdown

Steve can mix-down a multitrack recording created by someone else and send the files back mixed down in Stereo.

AV Quotation and Installation

Please get in touch for a no-obligation quote or advice on any installation of Audio / Visual equipment. Steve has many years experience in Audio Visual Design and has recently fitted the new PA system for the Old Station Club in Stamford Bridge, following it up with some additional speakers for the outside area when this need was identified.

Steve will provide a no obligation quote and you can choose to proceed with any associated works/costs once agreed or not.

Session work and Musical Performance

Steve has had many years of experience playing in various bands (as mentioned in history) and is happy to engage in musical projects with people/organisations on Electric/Acoustic Guitar or Bass Guitar.
